Sri Rama ENT Care Center is a fully equipped state of art, ENT hospital with outpatient and inpatient facilities. It is aesthetically designed, comfortable with a pleasant, patient-friendly ambience. We have a basket of services like video-endoscopy, audiometry, digital hearing-aids, speech evaluation and speech therapy, allergy screening, diagnosis of ENT and Neck cancers, vertigo assessment and management etc. We perform a variety of ENT surgeries with proper pre-op evaluation, anesthesia backup and with the latest technically advanced equipments.

The outpatient services are from 10Am to 2Pm, including Sundays and 7Pm to 9Pm on weekdays. Prior appointment can be taken from 10-2pm on the following number. However walk-in patients are also entertained.

About The Doctor

Dr. Shakuntala Ghosh, is a well qualified ENT and head and Neck Surgeon. She has completed her MBBS from CMC Vellore in 1996, MS ENT and Head and Neck Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh in the year 2000 with distinction. She has also done her DNB (ENT Diplomate in National Board) from New Delhi. She has completed 3 years of Senior Residency in PGIMER and has worked as a Junior Consultant in Yashoda Hospital from 1993 to 1994. Post this she has been practicing in Hyderabad as an ENT specialist from the last 10 years. Her motto is to treat patients ethically and provide ENT services at a reasonable rate. Dr. Ghosh has several scientific publications in National and International ENT-Head and Neck journals. She has conducted CME (Continuing Medical Education) Programs on various relevant ENT topics in the city and has appeared regularly on talk shows on TV7 Health Planet Channel addressing several problems related to ENT. videos attached in website Gallery Page and can be also viewed on Youtube.

Ear:

1. Tympanoplasty for perforation in Ear Drum.
2. Mastoidectomy for cholesteatoma of ear.
3. Stapedotomy for otosclerosis.
4. Excision of osteoma ear canal.
5. Removal of foreign body ear.
6. Debridement for impacted wax and keratosis obturans.
7. Lobuloplasty for enlarged hole in ear lobule & ear piercing for children & adults.

Nose:

1. Septoplasty for deviated Nasal septum Rhinoplasty for Nasal deformity.
2. Turbinectomy or turbinoplasty for turbinate Hypertrophy.
3. Endoscopic sinus surgery for chronic sinusitis and allergic or fungal sino-nasal polyposis.

Throat:

1. Adenoidectomy/adenotonsillectomy (Micro debrider/coblator) assisted.
2. Coblator assisted excision of leukoplakia, tongue haemangioma, oropharyngeal cysts.
3. Radio-frequency assisted surgery for snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.
4. Endoscopic removal of foreign body from throat/oesophagus
eg: Fishbone, Chicken/mutton bone, dentures, coins etc.
5. Hemithyroidectomy for Thyroid Tumors.

Larynx:

1. Laser assisted removal of vocal cord polyps, nodules, papillomas.
2. Thyroplasty for vocal cord paralysis.
3. Removal of foreign body larynx.
4. Bronchoscopic removal of foreign body from Trachea & Lungs.
5. Tracheostomy for Cancer Larynx or Stridor.

Neck:

1. Hemithyroidectomy for benign tumors/cyst/colloid goitre of thyroid.
